As a fellow academician, I've found the letter grades a quick and reliable resource, myself..I worry that "classic" will be confused with "fancy" or "expensive" or (as some of my former Literature students might think) "inaccessible." :-D However, the rest of the new scale appears useful.

Thank you for all the reviews! I've used your blog consistently in stocking my first home bar these past few months, relying on your advice as I gleefully--and to my husband's astonishment-- spent $1000 on my new hobby!
