Latest Overnight Success? stories

The more of these stories I read, the more my belief is confirmed that there are no short cuts to becoming a published author. It's hard, it's frustrating and it usually takes a long time, but for those who finally make it, it's worth it.
You can't get around it just by writing a check.
David, I'd really like to thank you for all the hard work you put into all these websites. It's really an inspiration to me, a novice mystery writer looking for guidance. I hope your new novel turns out well.

I just finished Grabenstein's TILT-A-WHIRL, which is a fine, fine read.
